The decision has been made. The underlying idea for our Lake Constance Solar Home will be a simple, module-based system. A rectangular frame structure will be the main component. A whole series of different fassade elements can be installed to give the house maximum flexibility.
In a first attempt to get going with the Solar Decathlon 2012 students designed a big variety of houses. That gave us the opportunity to choose from a selection of concept ideas.
One of those initial designs is calle Frame House. Taking a rather formal and design driven approach it showed a great deal of atmospheric quality.
